Understanding the Connected Model for Connected Manager Accounts

Last updated: August 26, 2026

Overview

The Xtrm Connected Model is a multi-tiered account framework designed for enterprise platforms, remitter organizations, and managed networks. Under this architecture, a primary Manager Account sits at the top level to provide operational oversight, wallet funding, compliance management, and API-driven automation across linked Child/Connected Accounts (both Personal and Company).

Core Principles of the Connected Model

  • Parent-Child Hierarchy: A single Manager Account acts as the central hub, linking multiple end-user or vendor accounts beneath it while maintaining distinct digital wallets for each entity.

  • Segregated Digital Wallets: Every connected account retains its own isolated wallet balance, audit history, and identity profile, ensuring privacy and financial segregation.

  • Flexible Funding & Disbursement: Managers can fund sub-accounts individually, execute batch payments across hundreds of accounts simultaneously, or pull funds back when appropriate.

  • API & Single Sign-On (SSO) Integration: Sub-accounts can be automatically created and authenticated via API or integrated third-party platforms without forcing users through manual setup steps.

Key Workflows & Operations

1. Sub-Account Provisioning:

Manager Accounts create connected sub-accounts via self-registration links, API endpoints, or Single Sign-On (SSO) from partner platforms.

2. Automated Onboarding & Compliance:

Identity verification (KYC/KYB) is initiated. Sub-account holders complete required profile details to unlock standard transaction and payout limits.

3. Centralized Fund Management:

The Manager Account funds its primary wallet via bank transfer or wire, then distributes payments, incentives, or wages directly into sub-account wallets.

4. Payout Execution by Sub-Accounts:

Sub-account holders retain complete control over withdrawing their funds—choosing from direct bank transfer, prepaid cards, gift cards, check, or P2P transfers.

5. Network-Wide Audit & Reporting:

Manager Account administrators monitor transactions, track identity statuses, and generate aggregated audit reports across all connected accounts in real time.
